Carlos de Nicaragua has been a songsmith, poet, musician, political activist for justice and equal rights most of his 50 years. He is currently associating himself with "Fair Trade" and has recently (may 12 2006) lobbied world leaders at a summit in Vienna for a better price for third world producers. He gives music the meaning it is suppose to represent, i.e breaking down barriers between cultures, religions and politics.
